Nasim Alavi

My passion for art started from very young age, but my curiosity for science made me to peruse my academic education in science. Science and art are disciplines with little in common. But people who pursue both,  realize that the two fields can feed and improve each other.

Through all f my life,  I loved and enjoyed drawing and painting, so I started taking various painting classes and art workshop starting in 2001. I was very fortunate to work with great artists in Iran, Scotland and Canada.

I love to paint with soft pastel and I also enjoy painting with watercolor. I am interested in painting people portraits and figures, as well as  painting nature, flowers and animals.

I am currently a member of Lakeshore Artist association.
